Resident Evil 9 – 10 Rumours You Need to Know

The Resident Evil franchise has been on a roll ever since it turned its fortunes around with Resident Evil 7 in 2017, having delivered a string of stellar, all-time classic survival horror titles in the years since then. But with Resident Evil Village now well over three years old, fans are growing increasingly antsy about the series’ next mainline numbered entry, and when Capcom will choose to announce it. The only thing that we officially know about Resident Evil 9 so far is that it’s being helmed by Koshi Nakanishi, who last directed Resident Evil 7, and with Monster Hunter Wilds clearly being Capcom’s big focal point in 2025, it’s looking unlikely that an official a…

Pepe unhappy with current Arsenal role

Speaking in an interview with French television Canal Plus, Nicolas Pepe admitted being unhappy about his current role at Arsenal.

The winger, who remains the Gunners record signing since he arrived from Lille OSC in the summer of 2019 for £72 million, has only been a regular member of the starting XI in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League this season. In the Premier League, he has started only once (the 1-0 defeat away to Manchester City), and has made six more appearances off the bench. Not many record signings have such a status at their respective clubs, especially not over a year after arriving.

The 25-year-old winger appeared frustrated as he pointed out that he continuously gives his best in training which is, of course, being asked of him, only to learn that …

Hitzfeld: Klopp one of the greats

Ottmar Hitzfeld believes Borussia Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp must be regarded as a truly great manager.

Dortmund surprised everyone by being crowned German champions last year and then repeated the feat this season, in spite of a spirited challenge from Bayern Munich.

Hitzfeld, who coached both clubs, said a third consecutive title is not beyond Dortmund, given the quality of their boss and the youthfulness of their squad.

Anyone who prevails for two straight years in the face of such strong competition from Bavaria is already a great coach, the Switzerland boss told Bild.

Klopp has already convinced me of this by his work and his achievements. He has a high level of technical expertise and imposes his emotional nature onto the players really well.<…

A host of former footballers led the tributes to “wonderful gentleman” Trevor Francis following his death at the age of 69.

A spokesman for the family confirmed on Monday the former Birmingham, Nottingham Forest and England striker had died following a heart attack.

Francis became Britain’s first £1million player when he joined Forest in 1979 and he went on to score the club’s winner in the European Cup final later that year.

I’m absolutely devastated to hear about my old team mate Trevor Francis such a wonderful gentleman a friend and a terrible loss

Manchester United join race for Schneiderlin

Manchester United have joined the race to sign Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, .

The France international has long been linked with a move away from St Mary’s, with North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur also keeping a close eye on his situation.

The South Coast club managed to retain his services last summer while a number of first teamers were allowed to leave, though with the big guns once again circling, manager Ronald Koeman will face an even tougher task in trying keep hold of him this time around.

In seven seasons in England, Schneiderlin has racked up two hundred and sixty appearances in all competitions for the Saints, scoring fifteen goals while he was part of the squads that won promotion from both League One in 2011 and th…

Prediction: Wolves vs Arsenal

Best Odds: 4/5

Bookmaker:

Turning their attention back to Premier League action on Saturday night, Arsenal will travel to Molineux when they meet Wolves.

Wolves

Starting with the hosts, while Wolves might have continued to receive a string of plaudits since appointing Gary O’Neil last summer, they do have the feel of a squad seeking a recent boost. Despite some around Molineux dreaming of the chance to mount a famous European charge in 2024, the former Bournemouth boss has seen his squad fail to win any of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Last seen settling for a 2-2 stalemate away at relegation scrappers Nottingham Forest, Wolves have also shown some real defensive issues on either side of March’s international break. Shockingly suf…

Pochettino growing concerned by Spurs´ slow starts

Mauricio Pochettino warned Tottenham they must quickly address their poor starts to matches after falling to a 2-1 loss at Leicester City on Tuesday.

Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez scored stunners to leave the Foxes two goals to the good by half-time and, despite Harry Kane scoring as part of a late onslaught from the visitors, Spurs fell to a first Premier League defeat at the King Power Stadium.

Tottenham have now lost three consecutive league games for the first time since March 2014 and boss Pochettino has noticed a worrying trend in matches.

We did not play in the way we normally play. The first half was a poor performance and it was difficult after that to get back into the game, he told BBC Sport.

We feel very disappointed in our performance. We st…

City sorry for Tevez´s Fergie taunt

Manchester City have apologised to Sir Alex Ferguson after Carlos Tevez brandished a sign taunting the Manchester United manager on Monday.

Former United striker Tevez held up a poster given to him by a fan which read RIP Fergie during City s Premier League trophy parade in Manchester.

The meaning behind the poster could relate to Ferguson s response to a question in 2009 about whether United would ever be underdogs against City. Not in my lifetime, he replied.

The creation of the tasteless material is in itself reprehensible. In accepting and brandishing it, Carlos has made a significant error of judgement, a City spokesperson said.

The club wishes to express its sincerest apologies to Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United for any offence or distres…

PGMOL to allow Nottingham Forest to hear VAR audio of rejected penalty claims

Nottingham Forest will be given the opportunity to privately hear the VAR audio connected to three penalty claims in their match against Everton last Sunday.

Forest called on Monday for the audio between Stuart Attwell and on-field official Anthony Taylor to be released publicly.

Sources close to referees body Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) insist it has nothing to hide and will give the club the opportunity to hear the audio in private, as it would any other club making a similar request.

Nottingham Forest has today submitted a formal request to the PGMOL to release into the public domain the audio recordings between officials during yesterday’s match against Everton at Goodison Park.

The club has requested this be shared for three k…

Manchester United and Arsenal set for Higuain battle

Arsenal and Manchester United are both set to move for Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain this summer,.

The 27 year old, who has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, has been in Italy for the past two seasons having signed for Rafael Benitez’s side from Real Madrid.

He has made ninety-three appearances for the Serie A side, and scored his forty-eighth goal for them in their 4-1 Europa League quarter-final win over Wolfsburg on Thursday evening.

In six-and-a-half years in Spain, he won three La Liga titles and the Copa Del Rey while internationally he was part of the Argentina squad that finished as runners-up in last summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil, while he also featured in the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
